Photo of me at Arashiyama last year on a school tour that I’m lucky to lead every two years. In a pre-COVID-19 world, I would have arrived in Tokyo at 8:30 this morning on my first ever, long service leave in 25? years of teaching. It was also supposed to be an early 50th birthday present and coincidentally, my first time overseas by myself. Oh well, hopefully there will be next year and I can pretend to be 50 again! #noregrets #wellmaybesome
